Port nan Gael Pods

Positive: Uitzicht is mooi als je even over de grote camperparkeerplaats heen kijkt. Negative: Er is geen personeel dus alles gaat via regels en instructies die meer vanuit de organisatie zijn geschreven dan vanuit gemak klant. Geen instructie voor werking van de verwarming, batterij bleek leeg maar niemand om een nieuwe te vragen. Watervoorziening bleek verontreinigd met advies flessenwater te gebruiken maar niet even een fles water neerzetten vind ik dan vreemd. Hoe kom je bij aankomst 's avonds laat aan flessen water met de Spar 10 mijl verderop. De ventilatie gaat soms aan met veel herrie en geen idee hoe die uit te zetten. De bedden zijn klein en claustrofobisch en zonder zuurstof als je de schuifdeur dicht doet. De camper mensen laten hun honden uit op gras van de camping, geen controle. Campers komen en gaan hele dag door, ook daar geen controle. Kortom het idee is leuk de uitwerking vraagt nog veel inleving in de klant!

Two night stay, with a trip to Iona. Beautiful landscape and well run site. Positive: Location was amazing. Beautiful sunset and morning light over the sea. Good local facilities shop and pub on site. Ease of use and accessibility. Negative: All good.

Reasonable stay. Great location. Positive: Location, views, good use of space. Can’t rate staff - didn’t see anyone Negative: Catering facilities limited - clear in description. HOWEVER a kettle and individual instant coffee sachets DO NOT constitute coffee making facilities!

All the fun of a camping experience but in a warm and comfortable way! Positive: The pods are really well designed and comfortable. An awful lot of good things are contained in the small space. The location is wonderful. Nearby well stocked shop and good pub complete the picture. Negative: Water wasn’t drinkable during our stay. The kitchen part of the pod would have been so much better if just a foot wider but we managed fine.

Clever, clean, comfortable pod, great for 2 , might be a squeeze to fit 4. Positive: The pod had everything we needed - neat and clean and comfortable. Negative: The pod suited the two of us well,; it might have been very tight for a larger family and their clothes. We were lucky enough to good weather so we got out for activities both days.
